Message from the Executive Principal

Message from The Executive Principal

Lambeth Academy opened in September 2004 as a new school which our community was keen to establish and as one of the first City Academies. We are now full and our foundation year completed their Year 13 in July 2011.

This is an exciting time for us. Lambeth Academy is going from strength to strength. Not only are our academic trends improving but we have been judged to be a ‘good’ school by Ofsted.

The next stage of our journey is to build on our successes and firm foundations and to ‘be exceptional’ in all that we do. We strive to be the best that we can be and for Lambeth Academy to be a place where people want to come to work, to learn and to be part of. We are all, staff, students and parents committed to achieving this aim.

We are looking to appoint enthusiastic and talented staff, who relish the opportunity to be involved in moving Lambeth Academy and themselves to exemplary, working in a fast-paced and innovative environment, making a significant difference to the lives of young people. We are a team which takes seriously the safeguarding of our students and our staff.

If you would like to be part of an exciting, forward moving school please read through the documentation and come and visit us. To apply for a position please go to http://www2.lambeth-academycareers.co.uk/Welcome.aspx and follow the instructions on the vacancies page. Please note, only the applicants with a complete profile and application form will be considered for selection.  If you would like more information please contact Tarja Aila at our partner Capita Education Resourcing, tarja.aila@capita.co.uk or call Tarja on 0800 022 3829 or visit our website www.lambeth-academy.org.

My job is never boring, as there is always something different to do each day, and I’m still learning, too!"
