International Visitors

Lambeth Academy students learning Chinese had a very special performance last Tuesday. In order to celebrate the Chinese Autumn and Moon Festival we had guests from China showing us dances and Tai chi movements. Our students were asked to give it a try and it was a wonderful end to the school day to see them practising their skills in dance and Tai chi.

On Wednesday our academy opened its doors again to the 6th form young political discussion forum. Our 6th formers had guests from our German Partner School and also from Epsom College. The young people discussed current affairs issues in their groups and then informed the whole group about their findings. It was amazing to see how representatives from 3 different schools got together and worked in teams. Our guest teachers said, “This is what Europe is all about”.
