Chinese Artist

This week Lambeth Academy was fortunate to welcome the famous Chinese Artist Yuan Liang, a National First-Class Artist and a Member of the China Artist Association. He came to the academy on Wednesday and worked with a year 10 class. He did a watercolour picture, which he later donated to the academy, and the students who had all been given brushes, rice paper and ink had to then do a step by step watercolour on their own. It was fascinating to see how the students used this technique to produce pictures of beautiful tranquillity themselves.
