Tea tasting at Lambeth Academy

Community Enterprise project sponsored by India Tea Department - London

The event was attended by the Mayor of Lambeth Dr Neeraj Patil and tasting was presented by Jane Pettigrew.

The tea tasting was led by Jane Pettigrew an expert tea taster, writer and TV presenter.
She gave an in depth presentation in to the wonderful world of Tea from India.

The event consisted of tasting teas such as Nilgiri and Assam in its original form; without milk or sugar. Jane then gave the guests an insight on the understanding of how to brew and taste the different teas. In addition Jane also explained how tea is used within the global business market by the different brands that we lovingly know!
