Face Britain

Members of Our Year 10 GCSE Art Class had the exciting opportunity to attend the Launch of 'Face Britain' at the 'imagination gallery' this week. This is a national portraiture project developed in the spirit of celebration during the lead up to HM the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee and the London Olympics. The students participated in a portraiture workshop with a professional artist producing some excellent work which will contribute to their Coursework portfolio.  Neil Buchanan, TV presenter of ‘Art Attack’, was particularly impressed by our students as they talked to him about their work, while patiently waiting for his autograph. I would like to thank the 9 students who attended  for charming all the passengers on tube journey, and their impeccable behaviour throughout the day.
