Parents' Forum
- Raise issues
- Be consulted on proposed changes
- Learn about educational developments
The Parents’ Forum:
- Is open to every parent and is a way to get to know other parents
- Provides a forum to share ideas and concerns with each other and the Academy
- Provides a two way channel of communication between parents & the Academy
- Ensures the whole content of the meetings is communicated to the Principal and to the governing body via the parent governors
- Previous subjects addressed include behaviour and homework
- Meetings for the future will cover bullying, the Academy as a community base, transition for Year 7 and Year 11, and support for children with Special Educational Needs.
How can you get involved?
- All Lambeth Academy parents are welcome to attend the meetings so please do come along
- Meeting dates will be advised via the LA Bulletin, email and text
- All the meetings are planned and run by parents with the goal of letting everyone have their say. You can just listen, voice concerns or consider becoming more involved
