Student Services

Student Services is a large department at the Academy, consisting of 36 professionals including Learning Support Assistants, Mentors and specialist Teachers. Our function is to provide deep support to students, over and above that which tutors and teachers would normally provide.

We support children with needs that may be complex or short-term. These include learning difficulties, social, emotional and behavioural difficulties, autism, physical disability, mental health, bereavement and more. To identify and meet these needs we will use our own expertise or draw on external specialists in the statutory and voluntary sectors.
