VIRTUAL Open EvenT

WELCOME TO OUR VIRTUAL OPEN EVENT

Thank you for considering Lambeth Academy for your child.

As a result of Covid-19, we are not able to welcome large groups into our wonderful school to meet our amazing students and teachers and have a good look around.  However, we are delighted to share with you a variety of resources to read, review, watch and listen to in your own time.

A presentation by the Principal, Mrs Welch, can be viewed below:

At Lambeth Academy we celebrate our students' achievements both academic and otherwise.  Teaching staff award students achievement points as well as Postcards of Excellence for our three values.  During weekly assemblies we recognise the successes of our young people and award prizes.  Students have the opportunity to go on awards trips organised by the Senior Leadership Team to places such as Thorpe Park and the London Dungeons.  At the end of the academic year, a bicycle is awarded to the boy and girl with the most achievement points.

Admissions Procedure:

Admissions to Lambeth Academy will be coordinated through the Pan London Coordinated Admissions Scheme and its timetable. Applications should be submitted on the Common Application Form to the local authority responsible for the parental address. Families should also complete a Supplementary Information Form to be returned directly to the academy.

The admission of students with an Educational Health Care Plan is conducted through a separate process. Parents of these students should contact their home Local Authority’s SEND department.

We believe that strong parental or guardian involvement is essential for the success of every student and all parents, guardians and students will be invited to meet with staff at the school soon after a place is offered.

There are no faith criteria as part of the admissions policy. Children from families of all faiths, or none, are very welcome.

Please note: once we have received your application form, information about our Admissions Test for September 2021 will be sent to you.
