Leon Wilson, Executive Principal of Lambeth Academy, said:

“Congratulations to all our students celebrating their GCSE results today. It takes a great deal of dedication and determination to achieve highly in these examinations, so it is always gratifying to see students achieving the grades they were hoping for. In particular, we are pleased that more of them have achieved the higher level passes in the core subjects of English and maths.

“I would also like to thank staff, whom I know have worked incredibly hard over the year to help students make good progress. This support has been invaluable to students and is why so many of them are choosing to continue their studies at our Sixth Form. We look forward to welcoming them back in September, as well as our new Year 7s, for a successful academic year ahead.”
