Healthy Routines

Students have been sent a presentation via their form tutors, on Show My Homework, about how to stay healthy when working from home. This is available here.

Contacting members of staff

For queries about work set, students in years 7-11 should comment to their teacher using the secure Show My Homework comments function.

Some students in Years 11-13 have been given their teachers’ email addresses. Students must only use their school email address when contacting teachers. If a student is unsure how to access this or needs their password reset, please use another email address to contact the Lambeth Academy IT team on lait@unitedlearning.org.uk

Parents and carers with queries should contact their Head of Year by email, whose contact details, along with other key staff, can be found here

Students attending during school closure

Previously, some students were identified by the government as eligible to attend school during closure, either if they are the child of a key worker, or are otherwise vulnerable.

All families were invited by email on 19th March to let us know if they are key workers who will be sending their child to school.  Any parents or carers of vulnerable students were also contacted directly, by online form and by telephone, to inform them of their child’s eligibility to work at school.

These forms have now closed.

Guidance for students studying from home

As a school, we are committed to providing high quality independent work for our students to complete at home every school day.

The way our students will access this work depends on the year group they are in:

Years 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11 will access work via Show My Homework

Years 12 & 13 will have their work emailed to their school account

All students are expected to check the relevant platform by 9.15am every school day to see what work has been set for them, then working quietly and studiously on this work for the time they would normally be in lessons.

It is imperative that the circumstances we face, do not impede our students’ academic progression, and that they continue to make excellent progress at home, as they would in school.
